The Inova integration will work directly with HIA’s business intelligence and labor management tool to help hoteliers make smarter labor decisions by offering real-time labor analysis. The Inova payroll and time & attendance data will be layered onto financial and operational data, so hotel companies can continuously monitor labor expenses and analyze labor metrics by date, hotel, department or position to identify areas in need of improvement and acknowledge top performers.
The two-way integration has many benefits as the systems talk to each other and sync automatically. For example, when new employees are added in Inova, the integration detects the new employee and automatically adds them and their demographic details into HIA. Similarly, information also flows from HIA to Inova, such as when an employee enters hours in HIA, a new pay statement is created in Inova which includes overtime hours, job costing, and is populated on the pay statement. The advanced integration also saves time and reduces manual labor by automatically creating payroll journal transactions based on customizable parameters.
