Charlie Fritsch founded Hotel Investor Apps, Inc. (HIA), out of a passion for providing hoteliers top-level financial management software. He always has new ideas for developing new features and products to expand our services.

Charlie is also Founder and President of MBA Hotel Brokers and MBA Capital Funding, Inc., where he worked closely with hoteliers and lenders, closing transactions and seeing firsthand the need for modern financial management software in the hospitality industry. Charlie holds the designation of Certified Hotel Broker, and brings 30 years of experience in commercial real estate development, management, financing, and brokerage to the company.

Charlie has also served as President of HBI, Hotel Brokers International, the largest and oldest association of hotel brokers, holding that role in 2007, 2012, and again in 2013.

When not occupied in work and entrepreneurship, Charlie enjoys spending time in nature with his wife Jean and children and grandchildren, practicing Transcendental Meditation, reading books on subtle knowledge and hidden mysteries, traveling and driving his classic car, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air wagon!

As Co-founder and COO, Chip Fritsch oversees all day-to-day operations at HIA from product development to business strategy.

He works with our software development team to ensure that hoteliers have the latest and greatest technology, while also supervising our customer support and operations teams to deliver the best client experience.

A former full-service hotel general manager, Chip knows the in-and-outs of hotel operations and uses that experience to develop new products and services. He brings 15+ years of hospitality experience, including a 7 year focus in hotel software and was pivotal in helping HIA win the Acumatica Development Award.

Outside of work, Chip enjoys hiking, biking, and making it to the beach as often as he can.

Chris Hall is an Innovative, transformative and multicultural executive specializing in integrated SaaS solution sales. An exceptional relationship professional with global sales experience and builds lasting corporate connections.

He has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, in both operations and sales roles. The last 10 of which were selling hospitality specific Saas directly to hotel companies.

He has held a variety of operations roles throughout the United States with John Q Hammons Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group, Radisson Hotels and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Chris also created and operated his own restaurant in Australia and is our resident “Foodie”. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from Endicott College in Massachusetts, a Degree in Hotel Management from Les Roche Hotel Management School in Switzerland, and is certified in French Language from the French Language School in Paris.

An electronic engineering leader with extensive expertise in ERP ecosystems, Fernando Amadoz has over 15 years experience in software development, customizations, and integrations.

Currently Amadoz leads the tech development team at Hotel Investor Apps, as Chief Development Officer. In prior experience, Amadoz lead SkyKnack LLC, a software services and development firm focused on the Acumatica ERP framework, as CEO. Amadoz has been recognized multiple times with the Acumatica Developer MVP award, most recently in 2023.

An avid traveler, Amadoz enjoys learning languages in his spare time and is a proud girl-dad.

Ricardo Amadoz is an experienced entrepreneur and brings over 10 years experience in ERP services and development. As Chief Product Officer, Ricardo maintains a complete view of HIA products and performance, and structures the product roadmap.

Ricardo joins HIA from his role as co-owner of Skyknack, a leading software development firm focused on the Acumatica ERP framework, with over 6 years of Acumatica ERP experience.

Ricardo is also dedicated to his family including his wife and their two boys.

Ted Walker brings 9+ years of experience with web-based accounting software and technology leadership.

With a passion for customer service and improving the efficiency of both the product and the process of development, Ted is excited to bring the latest and greatest features to HIA’s platform and products.

Jaime Goss has over 10 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry, primarily specializing in digital marketing. Jaime brings direct experience as Director of Marketing for MBA Hotel Brokers.

At Hotel Investor Apps, Jaime heads up marketing initiatives including brand strategy, website design, email marketing, advertising and press relations.

Jaime holds two degrees from Maharishi University of Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Living.

In her free time, Jaime likes to relax with her husband, young children, and two dogs by spending time outside, walking, and hiking.

Candra Valley is an accomplished sales executive and relationship builder. Candra is a driven professional excited to help hoteliers simplify and streamline financial management and give management what they need to run efficient and profitable hotel businesses.

Prior to joining Hotel Investor Apps (HIA), Candra was ERP Sales Executive at REPAY and brings understanding and knowledge of the enterprise perspective. Previously, she was Outside Sales Manager at APS Payments focused on the hospitality industry.

When not rubbing elbows in the hotel industry, she likes to stay busy. Candra volunteers at her local fire department holding a Structural 1, EMR and Wildland Type 2 Certifications. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking, paddle boarding, gardening and camping with her 3 children.

Gregg Suffredini has been helping business leaders and hoteliers become more profitable for decades. He brings extensive experience in software sales as well as knowledge of hotel accounting functionality.

Gregg comes to HIA from Data Plus where he served as President and Vice President of Business Development.

Outside of hotel back-office efficiency, Gregg’s passions include family, mountain biking, snowboarding, and traveling.

Kimberly Vassell-Jacob is a seasoned hospitality technology leader with over a 15 years of experience optimizing hotel performance through operational strategy, analytics, and software implementation. Since joining Hotel Investor Apps in 2018 , she has advanced from Director of Operations & Analytics to Vice President of Operations leading cross-functional teams and delivering solutions that streamline processes and enhance financial visibility.

A PMP-certified professional with dual degrees in Accounting and Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of South Florida. She is an expert in ERP software implementation, hotel benchmarking, training, and process improvement that help clients work smarter, scale faster, and elevate there accounting experience.

When Kimberly is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, as well as cooking, baking and creating new recipes. She completed an Executive Chef Program at the Paul Bocuse Institute in Léon, France.

Ignacio Mello brings over 30 years of hospitality experience in Accounting/Finance and Human Resources at both property and corporate senior management levels.

His trajectory in hospitality includes line-level jobs during school, hotel Controller for a full-service, 300+ room hotel and most recently leading an owner/operator’s corporate Human Resources department.

Ignacio has created and led innovative training programs for hotel professionals ranging from line level staff to senior executives, groups of all sizes up to 100+ and training sessions in Spanish.

Ignacio’s unique mix of on-property and corporate management experience with companies operating from 6 to over 100 hotels gives him first-hand insight and appreciation of the demands and challenges that arise at each end of the business.

Elisa Fritsch brings 15+ years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality and real estate space to HIA. In prior roles she managed B2B franchise development marketing for Choice Hotels International, directed marketing for hotel data analytics firm Kalibri Labs, and ran marketing for MBA Hotel Brokers. She also enjoyed spending several years as an award-winning real estate agent with ReMax Realty Centre.

Today as VP of Communications at HIA, she focuses on customer communications, developing thought leadership content, and managing brand voice and public-facing content.

Matt Polk, MBA, is an experienced Finance Executive with a deep hospitality background. With over 25 years in progressive hospitality finance both Internationally with Marriott and domestic with Miraval, The Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons. He most recently held the role of Vice President of Finance at Tourists Welcome and Main Street Hospitality, two well-known hotel management companies in the Northeast. Polk has been responsible for all aspects of financial strategy, as well as corporate and property accounting functions. He has also been responsible for implementing multiple software solutions in these roles.

Matt earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Management Accounting from Central Queensland University.

As Director of Customer Onboarding, Matt brings a financial viewpoint to streamlining the onboarding process and helping to make the transition to new back-office software easy.

Rob Williams leads HIA’s Customer Support team and brings both on-property experience as a hotel general manager of 18 years, as well as hospitality accounting software expertise. Most recently Rob led Customer Satisfaction as Vice President at another accounting software firm, where he developed training programs and protocols to improve staff performance and drive faster resolution of support cases.

On the customer-facing side, Rob specializes in developing training programs and webinars to directly address customer needs. He also enjoys transforming customer feedback and market trends into outlines for new products and enhancements. We are excited to have Rob’s rich operations, accounting, and training expertise at HIA.

In his free time Rob can often be found catching up on a good book, with a loyal pet or two by his side.

Todd Schroeder has rich software implementation experience, with over 13 years specializing in hospitality onboarding. After spending over a decade with Oracle, where he travelled worldwide implementing numerous property management and financial systems, he decided to transition into front end user software where he could proactively enhance the user experience.

At HIA Todd runs onboarding for new customers, helping hospitality management companies to smoothly transition to new back office financial management software. Todd is dedicated to making onboarding a positive experience for all involved and to that end works to streamline both internal procedures and the new client journey.

Outside of work, Todd enjoys quality time with his family, improving his cooking skills, and continually trying to become a scratch golfer.

An experienced business analyst and Certified Scrum Master, Elizabeth leads the business intelligence team at HIA. Her team manages setting up customers in the BI product, providing user training, and building out additional customization of the BI dashboards as needed. Elizabeth oversees all aspects of BI ranging from new integration data feeds and quality assurance testing, to developing new dashboards and reporting metrics.

Elizabeth’s 15+ years in hospitality-specific business intelligence have given her a wealth of knowledge in hotel reporting and metrics, process automation, and troubleshooting. When not running HIA’s business intelligence team, Elizabeth enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

For over a decade, Diego has specialized in data architecture, cloud infrastructure, and analytics. His diverse career includes five years inside the hospitality industry, gaining deep expertise with the core operational and guest-facing technologies that power the sector. This specialized knowledge is a key asset he brings to the HIA software development team. His experience also spans startups, family businesses, large banks, and consulting firms.

At HIA Diego leads and implements complex projects in data transformation, visualization, and cloud optimization, and has mentored colleagues on technical concepts and designs. Diego’s unique approach is defined by his ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, maintainable, and client-focused technical solutions. He holds a degree in Systems Engineering and multiple industry certifications in cloud and data technologies.

Diego is driven by a simple principle: that every step in his work should make someone else's life easier.

William H. Reynolds Jr., a hospitality industry powerhouse, brings a career of lodging industry investment and analysis experience. Bill Reynolds is Senior Managing Director of MCS Capital LLC, an investment affiliate of the Marcus Corportion (NYSE: MCS).

Previous experience includes Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Thayer Lodging Group; Managing Director of a venture with USAA Real Estate; EVP and Chief Investment Officer of Meristar Hospitality REIT; Senior VP Development of Interstate Hotels and Resorts and CapStar Hotel Company.

Reynolds also serves as independent director on the board of the Watermark Lodging Trust, Pareto Energy, Main Street Hospitality, as well as the Collins School of Hospitality at CalPoly Pamona University.

Mark Woodworth, a Principal of R.M. Woodworth & Associates, was formerly the Senior Managing Director of CBRE Hotels | Americas Research and CBRE Econometric Advisers and is based in Atlanta. Mark has over 40 years of hospitality industry advisory experience.

Mr. Woodworth was previously with PKF Consulting/Hospitality Research from 1996 through 2014, at which time they were acquired by CBRE. He left CBRE in April 2020.

Before joining PKF Consulting USA, Mr. Woodworth was a Partner and Industry Chairman of the Hospitality Industry Consulting practice for Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P.

Woodworth has been quoted on hospitality issues in such noted publications as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Barron’s, USA Today, The Financial Times and numerous industry publications.

Furthermore, Mr. Woodworth is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, is a Dean’s Distinguished Lecturer at Cornell University and is a member of the Travel and Tourism Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the immediate past Chairman of the Conference of Business Economists in Washington D.C. and sits on the Lodging Investment Roundtable of the AH&LA. He serves on the Finance Committee of the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta and advises the Georgia Hospitality & Lodging Association.

He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Hospitality Research at Cornell University. He also received the 2016 Award of Excellence from the International Association of Conference Centers for publishing IACC’s annual conference center trends report.

Dean Dodrill has held various technology related positions over the past 35 years including senior project management positions with NCR, AT&T and Bell Labs.

He founded Amteva Technologies in 1997 and as its President and CEO, led the company through design and development of the industry’s first internet based Unified Communications software platform. Dodrill secured funding for Amteva through strategic technology partners including AT&T, Bell Canada and Cisco Systems.

Dodrill is also Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member at Decisiv, a Service Relationship Management (SRM) software platform for the logistics industry. Additionally, he has numerous software patents to his name.

In addition to serving as board member, Dean also acts as technology consultant for Hotel Investor Apps.

Stacy Silver, is Founder and President of Silver Hospitality Group, LLC, a well-known consulting firm focused on building revenue and profitability for hospitality companies through industry relations and marketing solutions.

Ms. Silver has been an industry leader for over 25 years, holding prominent positions at Questex Media, publisher of Hotel Management, as well as ICD Publications, publisher of Hotel Business.

Since the inception of Silver Hospitality Group, she has been recognized as an industry leader and most recently as one of the top 30 influential women in hospitality by Hotel Management magazine. She has also founded the Distressed Hotel Summit and the Revenue Strategy Summit. Silver also is a frequent speaker at major industry events. She holds a Bachelors degree from SUNY Oneonta.
