While you may imagine implementing a new accounting system to be a painful, time-consuming process - you can sleep easy knowing you are in good hands with HIA. Our implementation team experts partner with you each step of the way and we have best practices to make it a straightforward and manageable process. The process can be broken down into 3 Phases: Orientation, System Setup, and Deployment.
During the Orientation phase, our implementation team meets your team and discusses the game plan, as well as roles and responsibilities. A scope of work is agreed upon, including any integrations that will be added to your software. It is a best practice for you to select a Project Lead from your team as a main point of contact.
During System Setup, our implementation team builds your software to the agreed upon configuration. This includes adding your hotel properties, importing your data (chart of accounts, cash accounts, vendor list, 2-3 years of financial history, AP), building your financial reports, setting up your Daily Report, and approval mapping.
In the Deployment phase, we train your team on the features and functionality of your new software. This is when your organization can start fully utilizing the new system while you close the prior month in your old system. We provide a month of dedicated post-implementation support to make sure your team feels comfortable the first month in the new platform.
Once the onboarding process is complete, the benefits of a successful implementation onto HIA should be felt immediately in terms of efficiencies, richer data, and real-time visibility across all properties.
