Glenwood, Maryland – HIA, the hospitality industry’s only purpose-built Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting platform, announced today the promotion of Chris Hall to Chief Revenue Officer.
This promotion recognizes the significant role that Hall has played in the growth of the company. Hall was one of the first executives to join the HIA team in 2018, and he has played a leading role in the company’s momentum ever since. A seasoned hospitality leader, Hall’s 35+ years experience spans hospitality SaaS sales as well as hotel operations in roles throughout the US with John Q Hammons Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group, Radisson Hotels, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
In his previous role as Executive Vice President of Sales, Hall led the HIA sales team to the signing of many notable management companies onto the platform including Peachtree Group, Baywood Hotels, Lark, Azul Hospitality, Midas Hospitality, Grand Pacific Hotels & Resorts, and many more.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Hall’s top priorities are to further grow sales including both national and soon international growth, optimize pricing strategy, and to focus on new product development, especially in the area of business intelligence.
“It’s an exciting time to be in hospitality software. There is a lot of interest from hoteliers to get onto systems that simplify multi-property management and consolidate financial and operational functions onto a single platform. The 400+ hotels we brought onto our hospitality ERP platform so far this year are a testament to that interest. We see a lot of opportunities to help organizations eliminate delays in decision making with consolidated, real-time data,” said Chris Hall.
“We greatly appreciate the experience, leadership, and vision for expansion that Chris contributes to HIA,” said Charlie Fritsch, CEO, HIA. “I am confident that in this new role Chris will continue to accelerate HIA’s growth in all areas.”
